In Treatment Returns to HBO for Season 2

Clear some space on Sundays and Mondays and set your DVRs–In Treatment returns to HBO starting April 5th and 6th.  Instead of five consecutive nights of 30 minute installments, this season will give us two 30 minute episodes on Sunday night at 9/8 Central and three 30 minute episodes on Monday night at the same time.  The Sunday episodes will repeat at 8/7 Central on Mondays.

A trailer for the new season is up on HBO’s website.

It looks like we’re in for more great acting talent this season.  The patients are new, including experienced actors in the form of John Mahoney (aka Frasier’s dad) and Hope Davis (you’ve seen her in these) as well as young talent like Alison Pill (Dan in Real Life, Milk) and newcomer Aaron Shaw.  And while most of the characters from season one are gone, Paul (Gabriel Byrne) still has family issues to deal with and a career crisis that won’t be helped by the father of a deceased patient.
